Default Roof Rack Fairing Project....

Leaving for Cobb Mountain this week for a quick get away and will be loading up the rack. To reduce some of the drag, I thought it would be a good ideal to slap on a fairing. I made it out of black 3/32 ABS plastic. I first made a template out of cardboard then when to work. I used a metal sheers and a stepped drill bit. I tied strapped it on and is now secure.

It came out okay, not going to win any car shows, but it is functional.......enjoy if you dare....

But his Disco is white, so we cannot call it Erkel!

If it reduces the drag and stays in place on the highway, that is great.

You could paint the hood to look like a Putting on the Ritz type face.

Couldn't find any good white men with black flat tops.

You make a good point! Does it have enough of a rake to it? If it is too upright, it may increase the drag. Shoot a side view!
