I fear it may be needing a bit more work than I had anticipated but oh well. I actually got some time to check it out today, has a coolant leak, engine oil leak, powersteering leak, and transfer case leak, AC leak. And needs new brakes and rotors all the way around. None of it looks like it'd be too hard to work on though. I'm gonna have to degrease the whole engine to find out where the hell all the leaks are. Still, not too shabby for $350, I'm still stoked about it

This will help you get started.
You need a 8mm 12 point socket, deep well works best.
Tighten all the valve cover bolts you can reach, they come loose and leak.
The oil PSI sending unit cracks and leaks, it is right above the oil filter, R&R $15.
You will need to pull the axle shafts to replace the rotors, do the wheel bearings at the same time.

The power steering takes Dexron, most common leak is the clamps.
Sometimes a ATF with stop leak will cure it.
To start with the t-case.

That should get you started.

At least you got it at a good price, now you will embark on a long, weary, often costly journey to keep her going.

Welcome to the Club of Discovery I Discovery, you will learn a lot about it and your patience, perserverance, and probably your creativity as you figure out how to deal with the issues ahead of you.

Just beware of the Land Rover Demon Gods that are lurking within waiting to be awakened as you dig deeper and deeper into the Rover and your pocketbook.

Have Fun, Remember Drive It Like You Stole It, Just Don't Flip Your Rover Over.
