Default so i figured it out... they sent me a series 2 PS Box

I think I screwed up when i ordered from paddock spares. I have not figured out the formula yet, but it seems that the parts for my 99 series 1 when ordered from the Uk where they consider 99 a series 2 year are hit or miss. In the UK the 99 series 2 seams to be a strange mixture of our series 1 in the states and the series 2. So I basically got the wrong PS box. I think i need to send it back and have the other sent to me.... anyone know if they are interchangeable? I actually gave them my VIN to try and avoid this happening... but this is what i got...

The DI AND the DII were both sold in '99.
The DII actually came out in '98 but was not for sale here in the US until late '99 AFTER the '99 DI stock was depleted.
So, whenever you order parts for your truck you need to make sure you order for a '97 DI, it is the exact same truck as your '99, just without the confusion.
Remember, order parts for a 1997 Land Rover Discovery Series I, NOT a 1999 Land Rover Discovery.

I replied to your other thread, I have no idea if it will work or not.

Just out of curiosity what is the build date on your truck?
It will be on the drivers door.

I only posted that because i realized this one sounded more like a rant and tried to cut through to my real question .... you were replying there as i replied here... thanks for all the help this last year by the way...

real quick i replaced my IACV and have a new CAT coming in the next day or two... I need to get the IACV programmed this week...

you think program IAC then replace cat or car first then IAC calibration

The IACV and the cat will have nothing to do with one another.

On second thought, if your cat is clogged then replace it before doing the IACV, if it is not clogged then it makes no matter.
