Today I removed my auto dimming rear view mirror to send for new glass, installed $99 plus $15 shipping (times 2). This is my second go round, since the junk yard unit didn't last long. They don't like the heat around here.

Picking up from above, my cruise control module had a similar solder fault. A good magnifying glass helps locate the ones with not quite enough solder and cracks. Cruise works great now.

Ordered tires (treadwright at warden II 235/85r/16), bought a Safety Devices basket, and RTEfab slimline bumper! All in all, pretty good day.

Throw up some photos of the tires when you get them on. I'm a sucker for tire photos and like to see how the trucks look with different brands. I ordered a set of Treadwrights to go on mine the first time but when they came in they were for a 15 wheel. I just had some General Grabber AT's put on and sent the TW back. Always wondered how they would have looked though as the tread pattern was cool looking.

You bought a new SD rack?

negative on the rack being new. I think they are like 2300 before shipping new. Same with the bumper. Also bought used. Originally, was going to do a stock height with the new tires, but need to get the lift on while it's just sitting around. 2" TF med, and 1" lucky8 spring spacers. I'll take pics if I remember.

I got it from an on-line outfit from Texas called Headliner Magic. It is foam backed headliner fabric. Lots of colors to choose from. About $50 for fabric and $40 for Loctite MR 5426 Maximum Strength Headliner Adhesive (3 cans used, 1 left over) from Amazon or Ebay. I popped it back in this morning, fastened the back half, tomorrow the front fixings. I found screw holes (oops, darn sun visor) in the tube for the front left sunroof drain, so cut them out and joined with a connector. I think water from the sunroof is a big reason the old headliners detach. Now my sunroofs are sealed with Seal and Peel, and I removed the fuse. If you try the headliner, use ample glue at the low spots and front lip. It is a fairly easy job (watch out for wrinkles) with some real satisfaction at the end. Look out Mick Jager...

Well, that part could have been better. If I did it over I would choose a different color. Maybe 2252 Lt Beige. There are other colors in that ballpark. I used 2002 Lt Neutral. It is brighter and tanner than the existing trim. It is tricky to get the lighting just right to compare with the eye. I like the final result anyway.
