I wasn't totally serious about jumping dunes.
You will def have your hands full getting her back into reliable condition.
Land Rover Parts & Rover Accessories From Atlantic British | Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories and RovahFarm - Parts for Land Rover Cars and Accessories - Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Land Rover Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series are both close to you.
Once you get this thing past inspection you are going to want to drive it all the time.

Thanks for the links! I have been using AB, Rovers North and Land rover parts Merriam. I like the sound of RovahFarm. It is inspected and I do want to drive it all the time.

There is a mobile version of the forum, you will find yourself not working and reading the forum while at work.
There is a great group of people on this forum, non of us know everything but all of us know alittle and when we put our heads together we can usually figure out most things.

Thanks again- yeah, looks like a good group. (heads together we can usually figure out most things)- This is good news. I was looking at another post, and now- what I thought was my seering gearbox making noise in one direction might be a front diff issue.... I'll need to look into this one.

It took me one year to rehab a dd including finding and installing the LED's in the factory radio (Radio Shock) to which I then replaced it with an aftermarket. My truck sounded and drove like a bus. Now, it sounds like a bus again but it's the smoothest ride past 85 I've ever owned. It's now headed south again after 4 years of dd duties so I get to start over but this time armed with several hundred grains of knowledge contributed by many.
