I am working on a 1997 Discovery that has a gap between the back of the door window and the soft top.
Sorry I do not have a picture, the car is a good hours away but I will be at the owners house this weekend.
I am not familiar with this car at all, used to working on MGB's, etc.
Is this due to shrinkage after 20 years?

I've never seen a D1 come from the factory with a soft top.

I may be mistaken in my model, owner says it is a discovery but from pictures on the web it could be a defender.
I will take pictures next time I see the car.

Yea, its a Defender and he does want to sell it, not sure on price. I will be reposting on the defender subforum.
