get some wax paper from the supermarket

I have used the adhesive carpet protector film sold at Home Depot and the like. Used to protect carpet while construction going on. It seems almost identical to OE stuff - very adhesive, it will stick to the metal and stretch tight. I put it on then trimmed the edges to fit under the trim panel. Perfect! Russ
