Default Speakers that have succesfully fit.

Can people throw some speaker models that they have successfully managed to fit into the Disco I doors? I'm looking to keep the 4" components up front but even with a spacer pretty much every driver made has too big of a magnet.

The door design on these things is the most retarded I've ever seen. The "dimple" in the door sheet metal is bloody tiny. I'm pretty damn close to taking a jigsaw to the door and just cutting the metal out.

Swing over to www.partsexpress.com. They sell speakers and you can look at the speaker specs.

Polk Audio, check amazon.com they have a set of 2 for $40. Great if not decent sound (4" so you can't bargain).

I'm going to guess you guys are all doing 4" coaxials and not components keeping the stock 2-way setup?

I'd prefer not to go coaxials except for in the rear.

Any way to change the entire wiring for the sound system? The reason I ask is that none of my speakers work except one. All the speakers are good (Checked the impedance and they are all 4ohms which is normal). The wires are all jacked up. How did they hide the wires? Are they in the floor side guards, under the carpet, or what?
