Summer Time
Its Spring breakup in AK and its time to get the rover dirty. Looking at a few tire options. I want to put a
245/75/16 on there but not sure if Im gonna need to do some trimming, I really do not want to cut my baby up but Im also not looking to lift it either. What would be a good size tire for my 97 disco. Also looking for some tire reccomendations.
The only place i know to go mudding up here is an old glacial valley so its mostly fine silt mud sand and rocks.

I have LT 245/75/16 on my D2 that are Yokohama A/T-S. They are quiet on-road and have performed well off-road. I have not had them in snow yet, but would expect them to perform just as well. They are E-rated in the LT line with heavy sidewalls and are spec'ed to run at 80 PSI. I do not run them at that, but normally 65 PSI, and 25 PSI when off-road. The non-LT version may be more than adequate for the D2 and spec'ed at a lower PSI, as these are light truck tires the D2 now has more of a truck feel now than with the softer car ride it had with the factory size P255/65/16 tires.
