Tach works and no codes

Pretty simple fix, dielectric grease on alt connector
Cleaned 02 sensor connection

Good stuff YAY us

Well thanks for the info, I will have to give that a try. Mine is acting up, usually when first cranked after sitting for a long period such as overnight, drive it a while and suddenly it is working. Once it starts working it usually keeps right on working until it sits a few hours.

Well I was kinda shocked, because I said to myself, it cant be just that easy, it is.

I started reading about swivel seals,,,,,,then remembered what an old jeep guy mechanic told me.......


He said just use you grease gun and fill it up.......they were designed for GREASE not a mix of oil and grease but grease. Ill be doing that next.

I use grease in my swivel *****.
Green Grease to be exact, I use that same grease on the prop shafts too.
If its good enough for a farmer who's equipment gets used and abused in rain, snow, dust, mud and whatever else he can throw at it its good enough for me

They do, I've got a few cans on the shelf in the storage room.
