You dont need spring compressers or need to dissconect brake hoses (unless you're replacing them anyway) or sway bars if you do them both at the same time. You take the lower perch off then put the new spring in, push it all the way up and slide the perch under the spring.

Dude that bolt was SEIZED... I never thought i'd have to bust out the saw to remove a shock

i was gonna say. they look chubbier than my medium duty 2". have fun.
spring seats ok. maybe switch to D2. cones ok? i had to replace both springseats and cones.

Got the rear done, just a FYI, the upper rear shock mounts broke when trying to remove the nuts. Thanks to my excellent business partner we welded on new bolt threads. I am planning on replacing them with the 2" lowered TF mounts but for now they are good.
She is a hot rod until tomorrow, should have it all finished up. Will post pics.
