Why would you buy anything other than Rovertym or OME?
Um, because of the price.
$800 compared to $500.

Yea you know my problems

Those coils plus spacers a temp/cheap fix until I find a 5" coil solution. Still haven't came up with a solution may have to run 3"+ spacer unless somebody comes out with a stiff 4-5" coil.

The real proof would be to compare the actual diameters of the stock that the coils are made from. I have the OME rear springs o mine, they are a lot larger diameter than the stock springs were and are very stiff.

They ride great with weight in the Rover. Empty, they will bounce the rear tires over speed bumps.

Can you give me some proof to this?
Other peoples complaints from other forums or whatever?
All the reviews I've read and people love them.
I dont have personal experience with them.
I buy what I can afford, not what others tell me to buy, I do my research and buy based on that.
If I can get proof from any one that the Britpart springs are bad I will be satisfied.

Discovery ride height. & Bearmach/Britpart hd springs - Discovery Forum - LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum

Hit or miss just like most I'd suppose you're gonna hear good and bad it's probably based on product and who the supplier was at the time. RTE sells american made coils and some of the best at that. Even though they too had issues in the start with sagging. OME - you obviously know they are quality coils.

So.... I also do not buy what others tell me to buy. I have bought them all and am telling you my experience. I had OME's and they were fine but I wanted a little more lift they were MD duty. I had 2" RTE's for a while and then I got a good deal on the TF's I have on how and Justin told me I would net around 3" on the HD's so I am trying them out now. I now know what rates/heights etc I need and will buy my next set of coils based on that and what companies I trust.

You know I wouldnt steer you wrong Mr. Spike. Although I do appreciate you trying to go against the grain with your britpart bits. But you'd be better off with Terrafirma and best off with.. well you get the point

Maybe on a stock truck. I doubt you'd still have 3" of lift after your bumper/winch, rack, and a loaded truck.

Personally I can give you names of guys in the Uk that had S**T PART fitted or brought them to me for fitting, despite my lack of faith in that brand. I fitted a new set of standard S**T PART to a 1991 200 TDi 90 and with in 9 months they were shot. The guy does not use a heavy trailer or use it for for off roading. I had another guy come to me with a 1995 300 TDi Disco for replacements springs as he had fitted the S**T PART and they were sagging after 12 months. Another one was a Series 2a with leaf springs that were sagging so bad on one side it was resting on the bump stops, only been on for about 18 months. I could go on and on.
Yes they are cheap but then like my Grandfarther use to say buy cheap buy twice.
