Question Is there A

Cross reference list of parts that fit the D1 from other car types?
I know plugs and such but MAF and other parts might be the same under ANOTHER make and be cheaper. If I order a relay for the 1978 rolls it is $175.00. from Rolls but If I just use the part number and I bought the same relay for $65.00

The fan clutch from a 2000 Chevy Express with the 4.3 NO a/c fits.
The IACV from a Jeep 4.0 fits but may not work properly and the dealer will not program it for you.
Wheel bearings are standard Timken.
U-joints are $20...the most expensive part for the DI other than a engine or trans is the MAF, thats $1500 new.
Everything else can be had for cheap if you know where to look.
In other words, yes, you can Disco on a budget.

Now that is gold plated correct! I thought the Testarossa was crazy at $1,200.00 for a sensor!!

I was under impression that the most expensive part is modulator - 2500$ new. Also it is good idea to make cross reference list in this forum. And for Testarossa sensor I would look at FIAT parts. By the way FIAT stands for Fix It Again Tony.

Traded the 1988 Testarossa for a Motor home, that was the SMARTEST thing I ever did.
I had not heard the FIAT in MANY YEARS

didn't look like one to me, either, but, could it be a generic MAF sensor picture?

I didn't check the interchange...

on further inspection it appears the "years" are a bit out of whack too. 03.1994-07.2002??

That won't fit his '85 Discovery. Considering the Discovery wasn't introduced until '89 and had twin carbs and that you can't legally import a non NAS Disco (which rules out everything to '94) who knows what MAF would fit. I suspect none.
