Default hey

I didnt mean like 20-40 more HP fellas. I just meant ANY hp gains from bolt on or cheap tricks. If I REALLY wanted speed and power I would just do what every douche with a Civic does..........pop rivet a 100.00 spoiler on my trunk and slap some "Type-R" stickers on my fenders. I would then instantly become a badass "fast and furious" street racer, no actual wrench time or driver skill needed. I just cant imagine that giving a gas motor fresh cold air and freeing up exhaust restrictions wouldnt give it a bit more pep or economy. I find that some of the problem with the disco's is that the tranny shifts into the next gear really early, almost before the motor gets into torque curve, atleast it seems. Now if you hold your foot into it it will hold the gear longer and when you get to about 2700 RPM's the truck will actually attempt to pull a little bit but I dont like to Rod on the motor like that. I will occasionally on a steep hill manually keep it in 3rd so it doesnt wanna shift into 4th, seems to work well for maintaining power and keeping the tranny from "hunting" between 3rd and 4th on a long incline.

Default little increases

I've seen a little increase with the resonator cut out and a magnaflow composition otherwise, also a higher flow intake.
But those increases came int he form of MPH really.
New 8MM wires, cheap plugs and consistent care, cleaning and maintenance has shown the largest boost to performance - and even that is probably just me wanting it to be faster, smoother, better sounding and damnit, just plain sexy.

Should you even seriously consider acting on your pop-rivet desires, please let me know - I will give you 1.5X what its worth just to not see that happen.

ROTFL poser.com <-- love it. (calebbo, is that your site?)

This is the day before I drove it and dropped it off at the rover guy in chattanooga.... It's running like ****. smoking, fouling plugs... ? He's had it almost 3 weeks now, I don't think he's even started to work on it.

With the heated throttle body a cold air intake wont do any good.
A better flowing exhaust is your best bet for 1-2 extra horse power.
