well i had a small tick tick tick going on....i knew it was something in the belt or the idler bearing because when at idle you can feel it on the alt. body...well it ended up being both...my serpentine belt was missing about 1.5" of tread/cracked/nasty...my idler bearing was moving back and forth and what not...autozone had an idler for me for 18 bucks and I had to special order in the Goodyear gatorback belt from Summit racing (best belt in the world)...started up....ENGINE IS SMOOTH NO sounds at all...besides my bad cats..but thats another job for an other day...I love how easy really a Disco to work on...
