Default Towing Capacity for Disco 1?

Hey Guys,

I have a boat I need to tow that weighs around 4200 lbs. It is a braked trailer, but I do not have the brake hookups. It is a dual axle trailer with a 21' boat. Just need to tow about 1 mile to winterize, flat land all the way. Good to go?

Yup!!!

The NAS spec Disco's are rated at 5500lbs, everywhere else in the world they are rated at 7700lbs.

A mile would be fine with no trailer brakes. I have towed my boat before I got the trailer brakes hooked up and stoping fast is non-existent, almost scary.

So you should be fine for that distance. Anything further, while doable, certainly leaves you open for huge liability if you have an accident.
