I have been searching for about 25 min and cannot for the life of me find who sells the harness between our factory harness and the tow hitch area. Any input is very appretiated!!

I made my own with female bullet connectors (I know, the diameter is larger, bu I closed the connector slightly), sprayed melted vaseline into the disco harness connector, plugged in the 7 bullet connectors with wire leads soldered to and poured epoxy glue into the harness connector. When the epoxy had set, I got my own male harness plug.
I then just used a "cheater" and problem solved.
And there is also 2 extra wires (one is purple), and I use it for power to the cheater box.

I really don't like quick connectors. While in university I made a lot of $ money working with a mechanic solving wiring problems and most of the problems were oxidized wires caused by breakage of the insulation: the oxidazation increases the wire resistance when large current flows and you get a drop of voltage. With low current you don't get the voltage drop.

Go ahead and make your harness connector, there is nothing to it.

Yeah, that works fine if all you need is signal lights, brake lights & marker lights.
I had one in my '97 I pulled out though because I needed trailer brakes and trailer battery charging.

 

Great advice. Cannot wait to order anything. Have to pick up this pop up Mon or Teus so I need to do this quick and dirty. I am thinking of scotchlocking the wires
with a generic harness and removing them for a regular factory harness later.
Here is the plug in on the trailer I bought. Any ideas what the 7 pin harness is for?
Can I use a 4 pin generic connector just to get the lights to work or do I need a 7 pin. it does not have trailer brakes or a battery in the trailer..

Dont worry about the lights until you get it home, all you need is a flat 4 plug, tow it during the day, once folded you will bebale to see the Disco lights overtop the trailer.
I am assuming you are not towing it very far so I wouldn't worry about it.
I have no idea what type of plug that plug is.
I would invest in some "bearing buddies" for it once you get it home.
That thing only weighs about 1500lbs so no worries about anything.
I used to own a Jayco pop-up and pulled it behind my Cutlass Ciera all the time, they pull so easy its unreal.

 

And just a heads up, because the trailer tongue is so short and the jack on it is so close to the hitch be careful of your spare tire hitting the jack while going up/down hills.
I had that problem with my Montero so I had to remove the spare tire cover (hard cover) whenever I towed my pop-up because they would hit.
And you will want a 2" drop draw bar if you have a stock height Disco, 4" drop if you have a lift.

 

This is the route I took. Super easy, cheap, and works great. Hopefully sending you off to another forum is not taboo...

That picture is worth a thousand words. I am going to set that up tomorrow. Have a multimeter to test the connections prior to plugging it in. Should work great. Thanks everyone for all the advice. I do have a 2" drop Spike. When I drop in the TF lift I will pick up a 4".
