I have a discovery1 300tdi 1995 🥳. I am in the position of second guessing myself and eliminating all possible wrong things I can do 😇. I changed my clutch this new year and have developed a faint vibration 🤔. Before I get into all the other things and possible causes, like uni joint worn out and about to go bang, as I have jacked up both diffs and turned everything over while going slow and talking lovingly to my landrover and placing my hands on her undercarriage...I eliminated most things. I remember I split the 2 boxes and at the end of it I had a longish bolt left over 😳😬🙏😂. I rememer there is a nut, 2 long bolts, 2 short bolts and this medium bolt. Somehow thinking i put a shorter Bell housing bolt in. Hoping this short bolt in the gear box to transfer box made it a little loose in there. Loose enough to make my handbrake keep needing adjustment and even the rear tailshaft nuts at handbrake to be loose. I would like a little drawing showing what bolts go where please as I can't get the nut wrong so just trying to eliminate this. I expect I need another transfer box but I can not find literature or anything saying exactly what length bolt goes where.
