Trolling for ihscouts' 2,000th post
Tom, don't sell yourself short...ALL your posts are crap!

(100% busting your ***** if that isn't plainly obvious.)
HAha man, what a moron I am. A real ultramaroon.
You guys are going to love this. Misfires SOLVED.
So I like to put dielectric grease in my plug boots (anyone see where this is going yet?) because there is nothing worse than getting one off that has been there for a while w/o grease.
Apparently, I took my victory lap to the beer fridge a little prematurely when I did plugs and wires at the end of the last exercise under the shade tree. Who could *** that up, I mean you know, it's gapping plugs and putting wires on, am I right? Apparently I CAN. DID. Lol
I got so much grease in the boots that THREE of them had slid right off the plugs, not enough to be noticeable, but enough so they weren't clipped on any more, just sort of resting on the plugs. Now I like my plugs greasy (nyuk) but not THAT greasy. Explains why it ran good after the noid light use for about an hour. It took that long for one or all of them to slide off again.
Two seconds with a rag and good to go. No codes for two days.
And as a public service to all who use this board:
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO HERE IS POST BACK WHEN YOU FIX SOMETHING SO YOU ARE NOT A KNOWLEDGE LEACH AND CAN HELP SOME POOR SOUL WITH THE SAME ISSUE IN THE FUTURE.
*Ahem*.
That is all.
