Default Vibration After Lift

So a week now since the Tirrafirma lift and I still have a vibration. I have had the tires rebalanced and rotated, but the vibration is still there. I did the following work when I put the new suspension on

1. Lift
2. wheel bearings
3. rotors/pads

About 2 weeks prior to the lift I installed new rear u-joints and I have not installed the new ones for the front. I did lift rig off the ground and checked for play in the wheels but there was nothing. The wheels feel tight and solid. I am not sure what could be the issue and I really do not want to take it into a rover shop to get it diagnosed since it will cost roughly $100.00 an hour to trouble shoot the issue and that is not even including parts.

Issue happens around 35-45 mph and then again around 50 to 60 mph. It is seems to only happen during acceleration or when under constant throttle. If I let my foot of the gas pedal while it is vibrating, the vibration stops or reduces in intensity.

So any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
ed

In my personal experience with vibration on acceleration, which is limited to front wheel drive Japanese cars and old rear wheel drive American cars, it has been CV joints or U joints.

How much lift did you put on? When I did my 3" my front driveshaft at the transfercase was binding causing the same vibrations as yours. I used a double cardan DII front shaft (rebuilt) and that cleared up the vibration.

Sounds like a driveshaft to me as well. Find it fast before you damage it.

I only put on the terrafirma tf202 lift. It was only suppose to be a 2" lift. I will check the ujoints and replace the front ones. Again I replaced the rear ones a few weeks ago. Should I take the rear shaft to a shop to have it balanced? Or could it be at to much of an angle.

Go buy as many cement blocks as you can fit in your truck and then drive it and see if the vibration goes away.
Then return the blocks.

So would it be recommended that I pull one drive line at a time to determine where the vibration is coming from? I am pretty sure that it is from the rear. I did replace the front u-joints yesterday and it did seem to clear up the vibration I was feeling from the front end. But the rear still feels pretty rough.

So if it is pinion angle how do I adjust that?
