Default Want to replace all hoses. PS TRANNY

Help

Anyone know where else I can find these hoses? Rover parts has them, but there a little expensive. I have 10% off from them so I might go with them.

Im a broke soon to be college student and just need my truck to be reliable. This is the second hose I had break right at the fitting.

Is there anything else I should replace such as the powersteering o-rings?

As far as I know there are 4 hoses for the power steering. Ill probably replace the two or three with fittings. There are two transmission lines? [I replaced one with one from a junk yard, but I really would like to take road trips with this truck and its just not prooving its self at all.. I still need to get to the head gasket, and iacv.

Found them on ebay for 58$ shipped vs about 90$ from rover parts.

Man I took these all over the place, they said they couldn't do ANYTHING with those fittings. They would have to weld on a different type of fitting.

You can get hoses made with compression fittings. All you have to do is cut the rubber hose off clean the metal up(dirt, rust, etc)and tighten the fitting up. I made 100s of hoses that way when worked for NAPA.

You cant tell them what they are for, just say power steering and oil cooler for a project.
They can do it, until you say Land Rover, then it is a immediate "NOPE".

Would paying to have a custom set really be cheaper than $100? I'm just curious because usually custom=homemade or professional custom=big $

Hey spencer do you really need all three or do you know which one is your bad hose? Mine were in good shape except for the pump to gearbox hose which was leaking at the gearbox. The reason I ask is that RovahFarm sells them separate. I know that it is ideal to replace them as a set but if you are really pressed for money you gotta do what you gotta do. If I still had mine I would send them to you for free but I got rid of them. Sorry.

I ordered two off ebay, there way cheaper than anywhere else. Im just tires of busted hoses. the first one left me stranded in a forest and could have killed my transmission. This is the second hose to go right at the fitting in less than 4,000miles.

I really want to know why the bump damaged the hose.. I mean honestly It seems impossible unless pressure got that high.
