Default Wanted Homelink-Rolling code compatible

Hi,

Im new to the site. I have a 96' D1 and i want to buy a beige color Homelink that is compatible to rolling code openers(I read that 98' or later models have them and that it has a triangle shape LED, not sure if thats correct.)

Anyways, anyone want to sell one?

Thank you,

Abran

Not triangle shaped on these. You want the orange LED. I have an extra one with the red LED, and it won't work on rolling codes.

It's best to check the color. You can power it up outside the car. I THINK I got my non rolling code version from an early 1997. The rolling code one I bought online and it was newer. Maybe 1998? Early d2 up to about 2001 or 2 should work too. Later d2 had it in the mirror.

Thank you for the info Jafir,

The D2 one up to 2002 will fit inside the overhead console?

Yep. My 1999 D2 had that style. My 2003 had it in the mirror. I'm not sure of exactly when the switch over was.

My 98 has the orange light. Maybe once we get our new house built I'll have a garage to use it with.
