War on Misfires
0280150746 is different injector. 0280155746 is the one. There's a sneaky 5 in there. That is where I ordered them though: http://www.fuelinjector.citymaker.com/catalog/edit_catalog_items.cfm/4511825
I water sealed the ECU recently and it looks brand new. Absolutely no corrosion inside or out.
Mega Squirt III....hmmm don't temp me
The more I think about it the more I suspect the injectors. I always noticed the fuel pressure never lasted too long, and it does seem to run a little rich.

Too late, your tempted.
FPR needs checking if pressure doesn't hang long. Expensive part.
The crank position sensor has a shielded cable. The sensor wires are brown and green. The white wire is the shield, and should read a short to frame ground with an ohm meter. Might have gotten broken with all the work.
I'll try bypassing the AEL. In fact I'd like to remove the whole system.
I realize you told us the county you are in does not have inspections, but can you do something like that and still get away with it?
I've been looking into the Ford injectors. Some recommend the Bosch 0280150556 but Discovery Land Rover Fuel Injectors - Land Rover Fuel Injection - FiveOMotorsport.com recommends different parts. Have you used them?

He will have a damn near new one soon at this rate!
not to mention be about 1000x more reliable than the stock stuff... and easier to troubleshoot, and allow you to eek some more MPGs out of the thing...
i intend to do that to my rig once ive shaken out the rest of the truck mechanically
shameless plug - (see sig) -

So what does one of them total in dollars? I went to their site and they do not show anything regarding a Discovery, so is anyone using those on a Discovery? Why do you plug them?

No emissions or visual inspections means I can do whatever I want to it. And most of what I want is illegal
Those CARB hippies can kiss my ***.
Speaking of illegal, Mega Squirt is illegal no matter where you are, even if it reduces emmisions and increases safety, but by this point who cares.
