You know Ian and I totally would if we had a car.

 

Limb risers attached to the fenders.....oh neato. Looks like a UK truck by the front plate across the grill and the drivers on the wrong side.

 

Actually he's probably got tabs sticking up between the fender and hood for them. Most definitely UK, tho.

 

Limb risers are super gay, but I'd totally run over a car! I wish I could get up on the hood of my parts truck!

What is the function of the cables running from roof to front fender?

 

Is this application, nothing. They're called limb risers, though. On tight trails with a lot of trees they're supposed to help guide overhanging limbs up and away from the windshield. I've been on some super tight trails in the northwoods of WI and MI and never needed them. All the really hardcore tacticool guys run them, like Zack.

 

They are really a place to hang wet clothes after you get stuck in a monster puddle and flood the trucks interior
