I was all set and ready to paint my navy 95 disco's roof white... but now i'm having second thoughts!?! what do you guys think? i thought it would look "retro" like the series to have the white roof, but i don't want it to look dumb either! any suggestions?

 

I can see the thought process of the white and it should cool it down a few degrees, but I am not sure I would do it in white, like you said it may not look so great. Now, a black may look good, but I do not know, I guess I would just leave it alone, although if I had some actually D2's with the roof tops painted to look at I may change my mind.

 

is there something wrong with it? Go blue or white.. The only two that would look "acceptible"

 

I did not look close, you D2 is blue, so white may look good. You may be able to tape some white paint throw cloths or some thing up there to get a feel for what it may look like.

 

I voted ECT...does that mean you're going to paint the roof to look like an engine coolant temp sensor...? Other than that, I'd say paint it white.

 

i'm having some rust issues on the roof, from when a tree "fell on it" during a trail ride... and it is a D1...

 

I have seen a blue D2 with a white roof. I like the looks of it white myself.

I agree with the union jack, i painted one on a jaguar matchbox car when i was a kid, i used to " race" it against the general lee.

 

What rims are those(where can i get them?) what size tires are you running? i have a D1 and those look perfect for mine.
