Default What do you do with your interior???

what do you guys do with your interior? i see some pretty crazy off roading videos online where there must be water coming in the car. do you guys strip it out?
in my case, i live in Washington where it rains regularly and i have 2 VERY leaky sunroofs. the interior is dirty, and musty, and damp. i'm very tempted to just rip everything but the seats out and leave it bare bones.
any ideas? pictures of what you guys have done?
thanks
jon

Ive also had the same crazy man idea but instead of leaving it bare im considering X line. but if your sunroofs are your problem, fix those first.

im taking my carpet out next week i ordered some 3m rubberized undercoating. i already have removed my back seats as there are never more than 2 people in my truck. the undercoating has some descent soundproofing ability and a little more grip to it then a bed liner and i use my truck to haul expensive DJ equipment when im not off roading. Im mainly doing it becuase the carpeting is being cut up from pusing heavy speakers in and out of the truck.

I have hurculined my past 4runner. It turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. If that's the direction your going I would recommend just permanently sealing off the sunroofs

You could do what the neighbor kid did to his jeep. Indoor Outdoor carpet and a heat shield material under it. Looks fine for what he does with it, hunt.
Sine I am in the leather business guess what, I went leather and fixed the leaks. Not the cheap way but the wife likes it.

Take pics when you are done, I want to do that too! I have a question about that though, would that not mess up the insulation our land rovers? As in if it were cold outside would herculining the interior make our vehicles an icicle or would it be the same?

the insulation will make a sound difference but not a heat difference

Would that make her rattle if I add a subwoofer? I was planning on two 10's or a single 12. But things on a priority scale are before that, just wanted some insight if I ever decide to change the leaking headliner and bed liner inside or re blood red cloth the existing foamy thing. I don't want to be the rattling Impala at a stop light though
