Default what are these wires?

Spraying the crap out of the rad after an off road excursion a couple of weeks ago (don't worry, it's been parked since then) and took the grille off.

I noticed a couple of wires sticking out next to the headlamps, and I wondered...WTF are they?

The third pic should be a picture of my stalled truck. LOL. I need to relocate my ignition coil.

Thanks in advance for your insight :-)

Are those for fog lights? Wired even though yours did not come with that option?
I will check my rig and see if I have them.

I'll check to see if they get juice when I turn on the rear fogs.

Does your horn work? That's what mine go to. There is a little horn bell on each side (or should be) but I only have one. The other was removed. The horn bell kinda looks like a tracing of the inner ear canal (or a snails shell). It starts in the middle and spirals out to a horn opening. Anyway, that's what they are hooked up to on mine.

I think your right Brandon. I remember seeing my horns in that position when fixing my hood latch.

pretty sure those are for the horns that aren't there...

There are similar wires that go under the headlights for the front fogs. All D1's are pre-wired for them. Connect to those wires, fish out the harness behind the switch panel and plug in a fog switch, then add a relay in the drivers right footwell.

I have an SD (no fogs) and just popped in the relay and switch and now I have a control for my fogs. The brights are wired to my spots.

PS, the rear fog switch is for the rears only. nothing to do with the front

Ah-ha, so that would explain why my horn doesn't work.

LOLOL!!!

When I bought the truck, it was being parted out, and pretty much everything up front was gone (headlamps, grille, bumper, etc).

Thanks everyone!

You can get any replacements and mount them right in that channel. One on each side with the outlet facing forward.
