1) HD Front axles/CV's
2) Ashcroft air locker(move my ARB to the front)
3) For my blasted CEL's to go away!!!! (I'm hoping the Hyundai purge valve makes this wish come true)
4) RockStar Fab roof sliders/rack(see pic below)
5) less rust

Love the roof sliders but my rack serves pretty well in that department.
1. Replace my leaky oil cooler line (new one on order for next oil change)
2. Change diff and TC oil with 85w-140 and throw some White Shepperd in the TC (should take care of ALL fluid leaks!)
3. Take care of CEL. (Hyundai purge vavle and install new O2s should get that)
4. Change tranny fluid
5. Lockers, axles, and 4.11s!

we were not going this route but it has been decided since this is a spare vehicle the wife likes to drive that this is the new order of things
1) head gasket
2) suspension
3) descrete mount my 12k winch
4) build or buy bumpers
5) build or buy roof rack

I say build or buy cause while I can fab them myself no problem it is not worth doing if I can buy prebuilt for less then the steel will cost me, unless I decide on some super custom stuff

What I've done.

1. Changed head, valley and valve cover gaskets.
2. Changed ignition coil+control unit, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires.
3. Changed rotary coupler, water pump, t-stat, lower cooling hose, fan clutch, and had rad cleaned at rad shop.
4. Changed front brake calipers, rear brake pads, and flushed brake fluid.
5. Changed all three power steering hoses.

What I have left to do.

1. Change both cv joints and tie rod ends.
2. Fix door locks so doors can open like they should.
3. Change transfer case oil.
4. Have tranny fluid flushed and new filter.
5. Change fuel pump( it reads wrong)

What I want.

1. BF Goodrich AT tires.
2. Roof rack.
3. New headliner.
4. New sound system.
5. ???

Based on some updated info (my truck just arrived to me yesterday from AZ) looks like I need to do the following:

1. cooling system overhaul...rad, hoses, tstat, would like to ditch viscous fan in favor of electric fan(s) with integrated tstat
2. inspect ingition parts (should be new within last 8k miles)
3. investigate trans flush/fluid change (fluid was changed, system no flushed)
4. misc interior annoyances...dr seat switch not functioning properly, some broken plastic pieces, clean/lube
5. TBD

Cheers.

Does your new truck overheat?

To be honest no, it underheats. It's cold here in MICH (well, 30F anyway) and while the truck heats up the gauge (yeah I know) never gets near 1/2 way, only about 1/4 actually. The heat gets warm but certainly not hot and as I lower the temp it cools off quickly. I wondered if maybe the truck did not have a tstat in it or perhaps it's stuck open. It came from AZ so heat was not really used.

I ordered an UltraGauge, will be here next week. I may end up installing proper gauges though, we'll see since the UltraGauge kinda makes that unnecessary.

Cheers.

Hopefully the PO didn't pull the thermostat to mask overheating problems.
