Man I got some shiit to do this spring....or least once it get's a little warmer.
1. Get the friggin' seats moving properly (sporadic, not all directions work, yadaX3)
2. Replace tie rods, bushings, install rear trailing arms
3. Get D2 flares on
4. Get interior cleaned up with all switches working properly
5. Get wiper washer system working properly
5+. Moar stuff....
Oh, and for those who didn't know, E load BFG's with a detroit locker in the rear and stock front diff make for not as cool as it should be winter driving. But it goes straight through most anything!
Cheers.

I bought the vehicle in its current form with no intentions of driving on the road regularly and I knew the risks of this set up for winter driving. It's just the current situation I'm until I find a replacement for my other car (currently incapacitated). Unfortunately for my wallet, I'm driving it daily right now and in general I have no trouble going anywhere I need to go without incident but man, when I power on (ha ha, all 200ft-lbs of it!) coming out of a turn it just sucks to go straight. When the roads are really snowy and more slippery I just lock the center diff and that helps a lot. Ultimately (not so I can drive regularly on wintery roads) I'd like to have a Trutrac in the front. I think a big help would be ditching these tires, they are teh suck in the snow, period.
But yes, LS would be the far better choice for road use.
Cheers.

HaHa! Yeah, I wanted to replace these when I first got the truck but didn't really try that hard and then figured what the hell...now I regret it. I'm sure they're great for particular circumstances, those just happen to be other than mine.
Doesn't help they're 265/75's and I'd rather have 235/85's.
Cheers.

Love the roof sliders but my rack serves pretty well in that department.
1. Replace my leaky oil cooler line (new one on order for next oil change)
2. Change diff and TC oil with 85w-140 and throw some White Shepperd in the TC (should take care of ALL fluid leaks!)
3. Take care of CEL. (Hyundai purge vavle and install new O2s should get that)
4. Change tranny fluid
5. Lockers, axles, and 4.11s!
