Do D2 rims fit D1s?

I know the lug nuts are smaller. Aren't they a different diameter, like 17 vs 16 on the DI?

Idk, on roverlandparts there are 16" wheels for sale for a D2 and they are cheaper than the D1 wheels

Wheels diameter has nothing to do with it. Its all about bolt patten. The D1, RRC, & D90 are all 5 x 6.5 bolt pattern. The D2 and P38 are 5 x 120, I believe.
So NO, a D2 wheel will not fit on a D1.

Not that I've ever heard of. I suppose you could have custom spacers fabbed up to a different bolt patten, but that would be pricey. What are you looking to do? D1 wheels can be had cheap. Usually 4 for $100-150.

No DII and P-38 rims will NOT fit a DI.
No you cannot use different hubs to change the bolt pattern.
Range Rover Classic, Defender and Series rims will fit a DI.
