Default Wheel question

I tried researching and not much luck.....

I have a guy offering me wheels/tire/lugnut combo off his 2000 disco. I have a 96 disco. Will the nuts and wheels fit? I think the wheels lug pattern may be different. I really just want the tires since hes got 265/70/16. I need new lug nuts so if his work on mine, that would be a nice purchase too. Please lmk what you guys know/think!

No, they won't fit. D2 bolt pattern is 5x120, D1 is 5x6.5. The wheel studs on aD2 are a different size too and won't fit your D1.

Damn! That sucks badly. I dont know if I want to spend a lot of money on new oem lugs that may end up messing up again. Anyone recommend some good aftermarket lugs?

Let me guess, your caps are all jacked up??
Eric Tyrrell made a nice How-To video on an easy way to remove them. You can do this right on your wheel stud, you don't need a separate bolt.

The tires should fit your existing wheels.... but it might take a little lift or trimming or both to fit the D1.

Hey FishEH,

My D1 wheel stud is cross threaded and needs to be replaced. I noticed you listing some dimensions in this thread, would you be able to elaborate on those dimensions more? I’m struggling to find a replacement wheel stud and was hoping at least having the dimensions would be a place to start.

thanks!
