Question Where the heck is

Where is the CRUISE CONTROL on off switch. I see the RES and SET on the right side of the steering wheel but can not find a SWITCH like it says in the repair manual. This is on Mutley.

its suppose to be a high way overpass with highway lanes under it or autobahn for us germans ;-)

but yeah i thought it was either a skate board or some Japanese building.

Located under the hazard lights button and your clock. This is the CC master switch.

Odds are you cruise may not work any way. The cruise control diaphragm under the hood is managed by vacuum lines that like to dry up and break. If your cruise wont set even after youve found and tried the switch, check the vacuum hoses, there are three i beleive. And if it still doesnt work than you're in the same boat as me.

Mine did not work either. I have not replaced the hoses yet, but I did remove the piece that is mounted in the front of the grille area beside the driver's headlight. I had seen one write-up about one that had melted and I was working in that area so I removed that part for now, was considering relocating it elsewhere, don't understand why it is mounted in such an obscure area.

I forget the nomenclature of the part at this moment. Maybe a servo valve?

Danny, replace your hoses and don't worry about moving the pump. It is the manual vacuum pump control unit. The CC does not run off engine vacuum. It is down there so it doesn't get too hot.
