Default Who can I mail my ECU to for reset ?

I would like to mail off my engine ECU to have the adaptive values reset and have the (gems) software map changed from 4.0 to 4.6 engine. Who can I mail my ecu to and get this done. No rover dealer close to me and the cost of a Faultmate is just too much for these simple procedures. Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks for the great help lmao .

Dude seriously?
Do you know how many people do not Google stuff before posting questions?
What you are doing is not a big modification around here so no one knows.
discoweb.org -- probably has a better idea as those guys are more into modding their trucks and doing crazy things with them.

Sorry, I have had a rough day , and I seriously tried googling it , I'm not even sure it can be done with a removed ecu, I am dropping in a 4.6 gems into my disco 1 , with upgraded cam and injectors and modded pipes and ported intakes so it's going to need these changes to the ecu. But I think I will just buy the Faultmate, it will pay for itself anyways.

Truly sorry for the rude response, I don't think anyone can make these changes anyways unless the ecu is in the vehicle.

They can, there are places that do it but as far as I know they are all in the UK.
There are places here in the US that will waterproof them but none that I know of that tune them.
I know it can be done, just dont know of who can do it.
Have you looked into getting a early P-38 4.6 GEMS ECU?

Mark at Tornado Systems might be able to help. He's UK based but has distributors in the US.

Yes , but I would still need to , or
Rather.... I would still want to reset my adaptive values with all the mods to the engine. And with a 4.6 ecu I am taking a chance the alarm will match and the engine will even start.

A P38 GEMs box is not the same animal nor would it plug right up. Not that I have a crap load more to offer here but your ECU should manage the 4.6 good enough without a reset until your Blackbox arrives. Why not a Megasquirt, it's open source dude.

Someone on discoweb used to do that for people... but I think it was like $200.
But I don't think he works on stuff anymore. At that price, I'd probably just buy something from black box solutions.
