Whose using bluetooth obd2 scanners and which brand?
so, just like the title says which brand bluetooth obd2 scanner and which app on your android smart phone are you using?
i already have an ultragauge but my wife needs it for all the broken gauges on the suburban. my dd is the 1996 discovery and since i always have my phone with me thought i'd try something cheaper than the already inexpensive ultragauge.
thanks,

I have this:
and I use Digimoto Lite on my laptop just for diagnosis and I also used it to confirm the readings on the aftermarket analog temp gauge I installed: http://www.landroversonly.com/forums/f40/installed-new-gauges-56987/I have an iPhone so I need to unlock it and then spend too much on an app to link it up and read any data. If you have an android phone, then you can use one of these with the torque app but with an iPhone, it costs less to just buy an Ultragauge.
The link to the gauges doesn't seem to work but I used a 1 1/2 inch Autometer temp gauge and I needed to get live data to check if it was accurate so for $12 this thing did the trick.

I bought this one
ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner Can ELM 327 Scantool Check Engine Light Car Code Reader : Amazon.com : Automotive
and it works with the app called Torque. I find it super helpful and cheap.

I have one similar to that, l can't recall the exact one. They seem to all be about the same. I run the $5 Torque app on my phone. Its nice because I can easily swap it between vehicles. Its also small and out of the way.
