Default Help for someone whose brand new in Western Washington

Hey all,

So, after being very annoyed that my Jag can never carry enough stuff, I picked up a 2006 Range Rover Supercharged, which I'm now completely smitten with. When I was buying it, the dealership took me on their rock climbing course and got me all excited about taking it off road. The thing is? I have no idea where to go or what to do.

I have found a list of the local clubs that do outtings. I'm certainly going to sign up for some of that and meet some people, but in the meantime is there anywhere that you guys would recommend I go to try to do some "learning"? I certainly would take some friends and not try to figure it out myself.

So where in Western Washington is open to me and would be good for someone brand new? Should I head over to Tahuya?

-Colin

OK. Maybe I should go practice! I haven't been in those parts since I was in the Corps, but looks same as 29 Palms terrain...BTW I liked off-roading more in a HUMVEE I didn't have to pay to fix! LOL
