Default Wipers, Motor, and SNOOOW

OK wipers stopped half way randomly.

Unfortunately I have nothing to test if I am getting power to the motor as all my electrical tools are at a jobsite and I am sitting at home looking at all this lovely snow I'm sure a lot of you are getting here on the east coast as well.

Does anyone have a diy ghetto solution that i can use to test power to the motor?

At the stalk the fluid pump works but nothing from the motor when engaged.

No fuses are blown or blowing when the switch at the stalk is engaged. motor does not get hot. No burned wires or melted plastic on the motor.

I pulled the motor and assembly. the assembly is not frozen and the motor is grounded but does not move when the switch at the stalk is turned on.

The motor does not return to any position when connected, assembly removed, and accessory on.

The motor will move by hand but with a lot of resistance. Unfortunately I do not have any torx bits to open it up (tools at another job site)

So thats all i have. I guess what i really need is a way to test power at the connection to the motor.

Any ideas?

Rig up a ghetto test light using a tail light bulb and see if you have voltage going to the motor, diagram is in rave electrical

Well i was able to get my gear and test the switches. I definitely was not getting power to the motor. I pulled the switches and cleaned them up and all is good now except an issue from the motor.

The motor is vibrating heavily and after about a minute or two of running sounds like it is really struggling. There also appears to be a spot in its rotation were there is a very very light hesitation.

Is this a common sign of motor failure? Should i bother pulling the thing apart and if so what should I be looking for? I'm not all that familiar with electrical motors.

EDIT

Just bought a used assy and motor from overland imports off ebay. Motor was shot.

*Warning to others: I may have damaged the motor messing with it before i even diagnosed the electrical but since i didn't follow the 7p's I'll never know. Maybe i didn't have to buy a new one.
Point is, if you aren't sure it's broken, don't go off half cocked trying to fix it. Prior Proper Planning Prevents **** Poor Performance...brutal.
