The worst thing happened on my way out of work...

I know my co-worker was just trying to be nice, and cool, but...

 

Hey, at least he got the "land" part right. He could have said nice 4runner.

I have a friend like that. As much as I correct him he keeps callng my truck a 4Runner or a Land Cruiser. Everybody's got a rice burner these days.

 

When people mess up mine they just call it a range rover. I'm never too quick to correct that. Haha

 

I hate when people call it a jeep, like jeep is a generic term for any suv.

 

Well, Land Cruiser is better than jeep...but some people will never listen. I was driving a friend around in the D1 and he started talking about my 'Land Cruiser'...I corrected him and said it is a Land Rover Discovery, not a Toyota. He said I 'Yeah, it's a nice Land Cruiser Discovery'...He had no idea that Land Cruisers were made by Toyota and thought that Land Cruiser and Land Rover were the same company...silly durango driver.

 

No, the worst thing is to be in traffic and having the girl your with say "oh my god". When I look next to me at the light there was a guy signaling me to roll my window down. I roll the window down and he says to me, "Hey nice Truck and nice girl you got in there............thats my girlfriend you asshol*". This wasnt in a rover but it resulted in him following us for 2 miles as I yelled at this chick about her not telling me she was in a relationship. When I was done I pulled over to either kick her out or kick his as* for following me and just about rear ending me countless times. I ended up just kicking her out of the truck and the best part was that he didnt even pick her up either.

 

On the subject of this thread however, the most common thing I get is "nice Range rover". WHEN I had a sweet 1978 FJ40 I got "Nice Jeep" everyday about 10 times, My license plate even said "NOTAJP".......didnt help.
