Default XZLs

Anyone here running 7.5r16 XZLs on their D1? I need to know what kind of lift I need, hoping not more than 2".

Thanks,

Brett and Ian, don't answer because you run balloons.

No lift required, but 1-2 inches may help the aesthetics, and a camel cut may be required.

I'm trying to avoid any cutting really... I know they had to camel cut during the trophy for the 7.5r16s but..eh... this thing is pretty perfect.

Regardless of how much lift a vehicle has, the suspension still compresses to the same point limited by the bump stops. Larger bump stops means less travel. Lift is all about compromise.

A camel cut is very minor. You can't even tell from the side.

Fish likes to drive over rocks that could be driven around

Where's the fun in driving around rocks and obstacles?

And my parts truck has some pretty bald 7.5r16s on it. They are bald but look like they would fit with no lift. Taller coils also don't compress as much as stuck. There are more and thicker coils which are inherently taller when compressed.

Zack, buy and mount the tires. Do a flex test on ramps placed at opposite corners and see what you need for lift/clearance.
