Default '01 turn signals slow to engage

On my '01 Disco SE7 the turn signals can take over a couple seconds to start blinking, sometimes they don't blink at all.
It seems to be worse when it's cold. Is there a blinker module somewhere?

Thanks!

Either a bad switch or a bad flasher.

Its going to be a bad switch 95% of the time thats what it is. The contacts on the switch go out and causes high resistance and makes your switch turn on slowly the same will happen with wiper blades you turn your wipers nothing happens and then couple seconds later they start going check both of them.
