Default 02 D2 lift kit and tire questions

Hey fellas.
I lifted jeeps and lowered bmw's before but am new to preparing landrovers for minor to intermediate off-road quests.
What do you guys suggest in terms of how high to go (body/suspension), what to do about axels and brakes, which wheels/tires to run and what brands and all. Not looking to spend a fortune but don't want cheap stuff that will brake the first time.
Any advice is appreciated. I'm looking at 3" or more

I believe at more than 3" you're looking at driveshaft issues and possible axle problems. Most, including me, go with Old Man suspensions, or the Terrafirma lift. I'm running OME HD springs and shocks and wound up with about +2.5" including tires.

Is that enough to comfortable use 33" tires off-roading and ok the street?
If so, do you have a parts list of everything needed with part numbers?
Thanks

pretty sure that the tf prosport is the best value, in kit form, and you'll net close to 3 without getting into the need to stretch out and need to conform more stuff.
$550-600 gets +"shocks and springs.

plenty lift to run 33s

a 2" lift will allow 32s

I found the struts, anyone selling just the 3" springs new or used? Either OME or Terrafirma are acceptable
