Default 02 disco SD

new disco owner
have 77,000 miles - few minor issues (up stream 02 sensor, crankshaft position sensor)
not to familiar with the car yet - but getting familiar with the $125 diagnostics charge at the dealer.
Can anyone give me any pointers on the following.
Over the past 3,000 miles I have had three lights come on (at the same time) while I am driving 3 different times.
ABS light, traction control, and hill descent control..... when I turn the car off and restart (right away) the lights are off....?
They may come back on another 500 miles or 1,500 miles down the road.... a quick turn off restart and they are gone??
Any ideas.....
Thanks for any info.
Chris

Search the forum for the three amigos. This is a common problem. If you still need help after searching, get back....

Pretty common, usually caused from dirty/dusty brake pads, warped rotors, cheap brake pads and sometimes speed sensors. Usually if you go to a small shop, not the dealer, have them read the fault codes then clear them, usually they won't come back on and if they do then you replace the appropriate part.
