Does anyone have experience with an aftermarket chip on an 03 or 04 Disco?

Please share.
Go to the Power chip Web site and read the testimonials.
They called me to find out how my truck was set up.
They removed a chip put a socket in with a new chip and returned
the OEM chip so if I want to have less power I can.
If a new update comes out all I have to do is change the chip.

I have over 20,000 miles on my Disco with the chip no problems.

My other car is chipped also (Upsolute) with over 80,000 miles.

Car makers dumb things down, a chip takes it to the limit so no cheap gas, oil
or putting off service work.

Land Rovers run rich and the oil will turn black fast and people always are
having to flush out motors to keep things clean.
The Power chip will lean it out so less waste and better mpg until
you put your foot in it then you just go.

The best part its only $500 for some that will be high but what price is
a smile worth when you punch it?

Regarding thesuggestion to useBosch Platinum +4's, I'd go with another option. Failure after short-mileage is pretty common.

I couldn't find any testimonials for an '03 or '04. I understand the concept and like it - I have a chip on my VW that lets me chose modes, I like that too - If I can't find 93 octane I can set it to stock mode.

I even asked the Power Chip guys to send me '03 or '04 Disco testimonials - they didn't respond.

Apparently no one with a face lift Disco has ordered one.

The 03 and 04 Disco used the Range Rover 4.6 motor .
The Range Rover went to the BMW motor 4.4 in 2003 and the 4.4 and Jag 4.2 supercharged in 2005.
So look under the Range Rovers 2002 and older to see what is said.

My other car is a VW TDI it looks like great minds think alike.

Yeah, just drop in an RPI engine and be done with it. That's my plan for when I start seeing engine problems I'm still toying with the idea of a diesel conversion though, but that'll be a lot more involved and I'll need to get my Exige-S first.
