03 Disco blinking service engine light after fuel injector cleaner
Hi Guys,
I just ran a complete tank of fuel with Techron injector cleaner.
Now, as soon as I put load on the engine I get a blinking service engine light and a mild rough running engine. As the RPMs get higher the blkinking light turns off, stays continuously illuminatedand the engine smooths out. Intermittant... 20%-ish of theaccelerating time.
Could the cleanerhave incuced a clog by releasing debris from the lines and allowing it into the injectors? Should do another cleaning?

I'm guessing the cleaner may have tripped something or dislodged some gunk. By you a bottle of seafoam and see if you can clean it out. If after another tank it doesn't work, time for some real diagnositcs.
I just purchased a code reader and it delivered two codes.
P0150 O2 sensor bank 20 sensor 01
P0174 System too lean (assume it's because of the bad O2)
I've read from other posts that wires and pugs can contribute toO2 failures. I just changed my plugs toBosh Paltinum +4and planto add in the Magnicore 8mm wire kit soon.
Is it necessary to change all 4 O2 sensors or should I just replace the bad one?
Understand bank 02/01 is thepasanger side front?
Finally arethere differences in quality and and recommended brands of O2's.
Any advise will beappreciated,

Assuming it is the O2 sensors it is best to replace all four and get them from a reputable source such as www.atlanticbritish.comThere are good and bad sensors out there.
Keep in mind just because the code reader says O2 sensors are reporting bad things doesn't necessarily mean they are to blame. How many miles?

It's recommended that O2 sensors be changed at 100k so your on schedule anyway. Good place to start.
Use seafoam in your tank and/or do an induction cleaning. Do a search for "induction cleaning" on this forum and you'll find a thread that spells out the procedure.
Let us know how it goes and if things improve.

I've never used SeaFoam. Any advise... pour it into the throttle body?
