03 disco cdl
To properly adjust it manually place the Transmission in park, then have your shifter in Park. Pull it snug by hand and let it go back 1-2mm then tighten the 13mm nut and go from there. A small adjustment is usually all that is needed. I've worked on em in all sorts of conditions. Shifter in D but trans really in 3rd or worse. Park & manually set Park at the trans should work every time.

Ok got it all back seems to be fine only thing I didn’t do was hook up the wiring for the locked position
I can feel the low and high gears but can’t really tell when I lock the diff
I swear on my previous 04 you feel a huge difference when my cdl was locked vs unlocked
this one if I lock it I can’t really tell by driving it if it’s locked

Does your CDL light illuminate on cluster? Red X-wing fighter type symbol. Try driving the vehicle over some difficult terrain without CDL, until it won't continue...then engage CDL and see if it makes a difference...it should.

No no light because I’ll have to find the wires and connected to the switch on the transfer box.
I did lift up one wheel in neutral it spun freely than I engaged the cdl and it no longer spun so u guess it’s locked.
I wish I had this terrain but we are in the flat lands here in Ontario not much around me unless I go on private property which I’m not
Things I noticed while under there. 2 drains on either side one dumps on top of drive shaft other dumps on top of xyz switch, I stuck a hose up there to divert the drain away from xyz switch.
Question about the cdl, will I get any error codes while off-roading now that I put in the cdl ???
