03 Discovery Rust Problem
I purchased my 2003 Discovery as a Demo. Within weeks the front windshield began leaking and we took it back to the dealership who replaced it under warranty. In December 2008 the windshield began leaking again so i took it back to the dealership. They called in a "leak pro" expert who determined that whoever did the work under warraty did a "poor job". He even told the dealership his opinions and recommended i go to Landrover Canada. Now the frame the winshield rests on is completely rusted and needs to be repaired.
The dealership offers a one year warranty on their work and will not fix the problem under warranty as it has been more then one year. My argument is that the rust now is clearly the result of the poor repair job they did, and the rust would not have formed in 1 year! I contacted Land Rover Canada and they determined this is not a manufacturer warranty issue and say it is the dealers responsibilty "if" they want to fix the problem. Also, rust from the winshield up is not covered under extended warranty.
Please help, i have spent thousands in repairs on this vehicle, and don't fell i should be responsible to pay for this one!

You absolutely should not be held responsible to pay for that. Any time some one says they won't fix it take it above their head. Keep demanding that the company pay for the repairs and it will happen.
Yeah, talk to the manager of the dealership. Get some verification that the rust could not have occured in a year, and be nice. If you come in huffy, they won't talk to you. Be nice first, then if they won't deal, start talking court.
