Default 03 discovery se7 has spark no fuel

Hello, first post ever so hope I'm doing this right. So here goes, my neighbor has an 03 disco se7 with the 4.6 v8 gas engine, automatic transmission. It won't start. It does have spark, doesn't have fuel pressure unless you jump the relay. Will run on carb cleaner. Assuming that something is causing this to not fire the injectors or turn on the fuel pump relay. I have replaced the crank sensor and it did not fix the problem. Please help me, with only a generic function on my solus pro that will communicate with it, I'm not sure where to go. Thanks for your time!

I did put the crank sensor spacers in correctly

I guess I'll start with the simple stuff.

Have you tried replacing the fuel relay with one of the known good ones?

Have you checked the inertia switch on the firewall the see if it popped?

Have you checked all the fuses?

Is the security light blinking or do you think it could be a security issue?
Try shutting the hood and all the doors and locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key a few times.

Was the truck driving when it stopped running or was it sitting for a long time and now it wont start up?

Are you sure you got the CPS plugs snapped together all the way and no oil, dirt, mud or other debris got in there when reinstalling?

I bypassed the inertia switch, I switched the relay with a known good one, no security light on. But I do wonder if it has something to do with it. The keyless remote is gone and has been ever since they have had it. At least 5 years. The door lock is broken so you can't lock it at all because it will not unlock. I'm certain the cps is plugged all the way in debris free

Also the fuses are all good. The horn one was blown. This vehicle had been sitting without a battery in it for quite a while but I'm unsure when or what happened when it stopped starting

Any codes? Or communication with the engine management computer.

And you say you have no fuel pressure with key on or cranking.
if im reading this correctly, you have eliminated most of the simple stuff.

Reset the ECM. unplug for about 5 minutes, plug back in, and try to start

Yeah I even took the drivers outside door handle off so I could lock and unlock it to try to reset the theft system. Didn't change anything. The red led in the dash never turns on. Ever. That normal? Also where is the ecm located?

With the vehicle sitting without the battery for a long time I'm betting you are having issues with the security system or BCU. You say you have no remote and the drivers door lock doesn't work. Well that's not good because now you can't disarm the system.

The BCU uses the driver's door key lock/unlock switches to activate and deactivate the alarm system. Two separate
switches are incorporated into the key lock of the driver's door.
Depending on what is broken in door latch, maybe you can still deactivate the alarm manually. You might be able to remove the drivers door panel and be able to reach up and move the lock/unlock switch manually from inside, while all the doors and hood are closed, but I've never tried this so I'm not sure if it would work. I personally would replace the broken drivers side door lock to be able to lock and unlock the truck and set the Alarm.

Now that the horn fuse is fixed is it going off when you try and start the car?

Does the door lock switch on the dash lock and unlock all the doors?
