Default 04 disco 2 started, warmed up for 20 mins then died while driving, wont start now

Hey guys,
Have had this disco2 for almost a year. I started it no problem, it warmed up for 20 mins. No issues. Drove for about 5 mins. Pulling off from a stop it stuttered and shut off. Turns over, even almost starts but doesnt. Alot of posts on here point to CPS. Is this where I should start?
Also hazards did not turn on during this.

Let it cool off, if it start, yes it is CPS. Could be fuel pump, easy to test. Could be a fuse, but CPS is the most common.

If it is a faulty CPS get a Bosch #ERR-735 or NAPA's Echlin #CSS9280 (supposedly a Bosch brand in NAPA box).

For whatever it’s worth- I’ve had longevity problems with sourcing the CPS thru Napa -
genuine Bosch from a rover source made a difference for me.

Found a link on here for the crank sensor from Amazon, was a Bosch part. Tried it no change. It will crank but no start. Wanted to check fuel pump next. Can I test it from the port hole in the back or will I need to rent a gauge tester and check on the rail somewhere? Thanks fellas

There is a Schrader valve on the back of the fuel rail, driver's side.
