Default 04 Discovery Fixes prior to Factory warranty running out

I just purchased an 04 Discovery which is still under factory warranty. I have until November 15th to get it in for its last factory warranty service. It will be on extended warranty for two more years but that warranty doesnt cover nearly as much as the factory warranty.

The Disco has 41K miles on it. Any advice on what I should have them check/fix while its free?

Thanks for your input.

have the dealer run the VIN and tell you what service has been done and/or missed... then go from there...

Does it appear to have and leaks of any kind? If so, start there... I would also look at the wheel hubs to be sure the bearings aren't leaking the grease... To replace those, they are about $450 new...

The dealer won't just check it, that is you job and responsibility. Get under the truck and look for leaks, if you find them, tell the dealer, don't be specific, just let them know it seems to be leaking from the front or rear.

Coolant flush. Brake fluid flush.
Read the owners manual front to back, then back to front, sleep on it and then read it front to back again.
Read the "Passport to Service", it has all of your recommended service's in there, do them.
The two big ones are coolant every 45,000 milkes and brake fluid every 2 years.
