Buzz put out a post last fall about getting a new job somewhere and wouldn't have time to be on here much. But he said he would be lurking around.
Haven't heard from him since.

IHScouts - Since you love working on the Rover engine so much I'll look you up when my LR3 engine ever dives! I am in IL - not too far. I am sure you will want to play with it!

I'm familiar with them already as I've worked on an 05 L322 Mark III, same motor if yours is the 4.4L.

Don't kill it on my account......keep it from overheating.......please.

This will be the next motor for the MG/TR7 crowd, I prognosticate it.

Feel free to keep this convo going, but I thought I would update everyone on the verdict. It was... the CPS. So if this thread offers any value to future searches, let it be known that my CPS died with no warning and did not let me restart the truck after cooling down.

Huh, it was related to fuel, the CMP is fuel injection. Should've received a P0340 for Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction.
