Default 04 headlights & bumper 00 disco

i have a question.... somebody just hit my 00 disco. the grille headlights and bumper gone. i figured if i had to get it replaced i might as well put 04 parts on. since i like them better. my question is will the 04 parts go on the 00 with no mods?? if not what needs to happen to get this done? hope someone gets with me before i take it to the shop. thanks

No, they absolutely will not fit with no 'mods'. You have to cut the exsisting part of the core support off that holds the current headlights on.

It is not that hard to swap headlights if you have a few days and all the tools. There is some sheetmetal cutting and some wiring. Now is a good time to do it.
Here is a thread with some more information. https://landroverforums.com/m_13116/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm

Here is my post on LandRoversOnly about my conversion-

http://www.landroversonly.com/forums...on-done-27308/

Also, here is my Photobucket Page with even more pictures of the conversion, and pictures of afterwards.-

http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o...reet_Wolf1049/

The entire conversion can be done easily within one day if your moderately good at hands on work and figuring things out. My conversion took about seven hours total with two people working on it, that including a Pizza break and a 20 mile round trip drive to town to pick up more cut off wheels for the Dremel. Dremel works well for those 'hard to reach' places that are'nt easily accessible with the big cut off wheel.

Everything you need to know should be in that conversion post of mine I linked you to, if there is something your wondering about that is'nt covered in the post then feel free to ask.

Wow, I didn't realize this site was a failure that blocks out other land rover forums.

Hold on a moment and I'll find my conversion thread that I posted on here a while back.

I tried to post a link to another LR forum the other day with the same result. Kind of crazy that you can post links to just about anything else but not another forum.

Who makes you HID headlights, Street Wolf? I want them for my D1 headlights and possibly the Hella 3000s on the brush bar.

I just get them off of Ebay. All HID kits are relatively the same, despite what some people might say. If you want the exact kit I have, then here is a link to the guy I bought them from. I have three kits from him and haven't had a problem with him yet.
